Volunteer with Us

Volunteers are the heart of the Dartmouth North Community Food Centre. In 2017, we worked with 147 different volunteers including students, community members, professionals, and retirees. We are always looking for new volunteers to get involved.

If you are interested, attend an upcoming Volunteer Info Session:

Tuesday, October 23rd at 3:30pm

Tuesday, November 20th at 3:30pm

If you are unable to make one of our sessions or if you have questions, feel free to contact our Volunteer Coordinator at kcarey@dartmouthfamilycentre.ca.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

While we are always looking for new volunteers to help in all areas, these are the opportunities where we need help the most currently.

Volunteer Spotlight: Carolyn, Gentle Yoga facilitator

People often tell me how much they enjoy the weekly class. I hear ‘Wow, I feel so much better.’ Or ‘My body is really feeling relaxed.’ You can see changes in people over the weeks that they come.
